libxklavier16 software package provides X Keyboard Extension high-level API, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libxklavier16
libxklavier16 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libxklavier16 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libxklavier16 *
You will get with libxklavier16 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
